How to cook Rogan Josh

How to cook

  • 1. Create a paste by combining the Suhana Rogan Josh Mix with 100ml of water.
  • 2. Heat the ghee/oil in a pan and sauté the tomatoes for 4-5 minutes (or until the oil oozes out). Add the paste and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add the mutton into the pan and sauté well for 3-4 minutes. For a more exotic taste, add some fresh ginger.
  • 3. Transfer the sautéed mutton into a pressure cooker with 600ml of water and cook on a medium flame for 25-30 minutes until mutton is cooked. Or, cook on the stove top with 800ml of water for 50 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • 4. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve with rice or Indian breads.
